They serve warm bread rolls stuffed with a generous variety of fillings and a refreshing spritz, providing the sustenance you need to tackle the crowds of tourists with a sense of contentment. You place your order at a small kiosk where two delightful Florentines chat with you. The sandwiches are made to order and then you can sit on small stools in the alley where the sandwich shop is located, joining fellow diners. It’s a charming experience that should not be missed!

We stumbled upon this delightful find in expensive Florence. Located right in the historical center, this tiny place offers a good selection of panini, all priced at just 5 euros each. The bread is fresh and delicious, and the sandwiches are substantial. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches. They also offer wine by the glass, which is a fun touch – you simply place your empty wine glass on the shelf when you’re done! They also have “schiacciate” here, which are larger than the panini and served on flatter bread, priced at 6 euros. The service is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

We had heard great things about this literal ‘hole-in-the-wall’ panini spot, so we had to give it a visit. Luckily, the line wasn’t too long when we arrived, but it had grown considerably by the time we finished. The ingredients are simple, fresh, and delicious. The staff working there were friendly and helpful. It’s a great value, and I highly recommend it!
